PAASSS Launches Integrated Referral and Intake System (IRIS) to Strengthen Support for Families in Grundy and Kendall Counties
The Plano Area Alliance Supporting Student Success (PAASSS) is proud to announce the official launch of the Integrated Referral and Intake System (IRIS) in Region 24, serving Grundy and Kendall Counties. With over 25 partner organizations on board, the IRIS network will streamline referrals, close communication gaps between agencies, and make it easier for families to access the support they need.
IRIS is a secure, online platform that connects local agencies to improve how families are referred to community-based services. It supports warm hand-offs, tracks outcomes, and provides a data-driven view of partner capacity—ensuring families don’t fall through the cracks.
“IRIS is a game-changer for coordination and equity in family services,” said Laurel Mateyka, CEO of PAASSS. “By connecting agencies and centering family needs, we’re building a stronger, more responsive network of care.”
IRIS includes partners across behavioral health, maternal and child health, housing, faith-based organizations, developmental supports, early childhood education, and family navigation services. The system is HIPAA-compliant, ensuring client information remains private and secure.
