Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age. Skills such as taking a first step, smiling or the first time, and waving “bye-bye” are called developmental milestones.
Partner with your child’s doctor to help understand some of these milestones. You can also check out the CDC’s developmental milestones at www.cdc.gov
