PAASSS in the Community

Over 30 volunteers assist with delivering ‘rescue food’, and surplus food on Friday morning; cleaning produce Friday afternoon; registering clients as they enter and distributing meat, bread, produce, canned goods Friday evening. The entire volunteer crew then stays to help clean up the spaces used when the pantry closes at 8:00 p.m.

This is an outstanding collaborative effort launched by PAASSS on behalf of our families and supported by St. Mary’s Church, First Lutheran Church, Plano CUSD 88, and the Kendall County Community Food Pantry. We are excited to be able to promote this event each month and look forward to continuing to support our community by bringing much needed resources to our community.
